Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill the temporary Logistics Coordinator opening with a company located in Bloomington, MN. Interested candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience, strong communications skills, and critical thinking abilities.
Logistics Coordinator Job Description:
- Manage coordination of storage facilities when required to ensure materials are properly stored.
- Examine invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations to ensure legal compliance.
- Conduct inventory control, analysis, and classification according to material management procedure to ensure effective use of resources to ensure effective logistics deployment.
- Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, and test equipment.
- Track goods while they are enroute to their destinations and expedite orders when necessary to ensure timeliness of delivery.
Logistics Coordinator Job Requirement:
- A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
- Higher education degree or equivalent work experience
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced data analysis and data visualization
- Expert inventory management
- Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions

Compensation for Logistics Coordinator:
The starting salary for the Logistics Coordinator position is ($21.00) per hour.
