Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the direct hire position of CAD Drafter opening with a company located in Hamel, MN. Interested candidates should have 2 years of training in mechanical/electrical drafting/design, over 2 years of experience using SolidWorks, and the ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
CAD Drafter Job Description:
- Create and modify detailed drawings, bills of material, and solid models for a variety of products.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
CAD Drafter Job Requirement:
- At least 2 years of advanced training in mechanical/electrical drafting/design.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience utilizing SolidWorks in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and an understanding of geometric tolerancing are essential.
- Ability to clearly convey ideas and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with other team members both in person and remotely.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to actively learn and grow within the organization.
Compensation for CAD Drafter:
The starting salary for the CAD Drafter position is $26.00-$29.00 hourly plus benefits (Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Company Sponsored Profit Sharing, 401K Plan, Annual Bonus, Tuition Reimbursement)
