Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the direct hire position of Electrical Manufacturing Technician opening with a company located in Minneapolis, MN. Electrical Manufacturing Technician Job Description:
  • Apply knowledge in electrical power wiring, power distribution, and light mechanical assembly to support manufacturing processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in manufacturing. 
  • Identify and resolve technical issues or production bottlenecks to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance protocols to meet or exceed customer and industry standards. 
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify trends, enhance productivity, and maintain product quality. 
  • Ensure all production activities adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. 
  • Lead initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to streamline operations and drive innovation.
 
Electrical Manufacturing Technician Job Requirement:
  • High school or equivalent required, and a technical/associate degree or higher in electrical preferred. 
  • 5+ years of technical manufacturing experience 
  • Proven experience in technical manufacturing with expertise in electrical power wiring and power distribution. 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean processes, quality control, and process optimization. 
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. 
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration. 
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance. 
  • Experience in a small manufacturing environment (< 25 employees) is a strong plus. 
  • Previous exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
 
Compensation for Electrical Manufacturing Technician:
The starting salary for the Electrical Manufacturing Technician position is $75-$95k annually plus benefits (benefits offered include medical coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with 4% match, life insurance, and 9 paid holidays)
