Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a temp-to-hire Assembler opening with a company located in Bloomington, MN. Interested candidates should have 1+ year electro-mechanical experience and be reliable, punctual, and respectful of others in a diverse work environment.
Assembler Job Description:
- Read and understand Assembly Prints, Bill of Materials, ECO’s and Assembly Processes.
- Assemble electrical/mechanical parts into finished products using different types of tools and assembly process equipment.
- Knowledge and use of a variety of adhesives and chemicals used in the assembly process.
- Use of computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes.
- Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.
- Become cross-trained on functions and products within the department.
- Perform quality control inspection functions as part of an ongoing effort to ensure the highest quality products are being shipped to our customers.
Assembler Job Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Must be able to effectively speak, read, and write in English.
- Able to read and understand English prints, drawings, BOM’s, and process instructions.
- Good dexterity with small hand tools and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis.

Compensation for Assembler:
The starting salary for the Assembler position is $20-$23 per hour (DOE).
