Finishing Inspector – Direct Hire 

Burnsville, MN 

Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a direct hire Finishing Inspector opening with a company in Burnsville, MN. Interested candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing/machine operating experience, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to stay focused on tasks. 

Finishing Inspector Job Description: 

• Inspect product and operate slitting & rewinding machines to prepare rolls of label for shipment

• Verify all information on each job ticket before processing to ensure that the product matches the parameters listed

• Perform setup of the equipment following machine operating instructions and job ticket parameters

• Carefully inspect each run, replacing missing labels, removing splices and flagged material

• Make all splices top quality and appropriate for the job and application method

• Accurately enter required information into the computer system

• Purge the area of all materials from previous runs before processing new orders Responsible for daily general maintenance of equipment and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules

• Perform other duties as needed or assigned 

Finishing Inspector Job Requirements: 

• High School Diploma required 

• 2+ years of related experience preferred 
• Very detail oriented 
• Mathematical & mechanical aptitude 
• Ability to stay focused on task 
• Knowledge of label finishing process preferred 

The starting salary for the Finishing Inspector position is $18.00 - $22.00 hourly plus benefits (health insurance, PTO, retirement options).
