Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct Hire Mechanical Engineer opening with a company in Plymouth, MN. Interested candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 4+ years of industry experience, a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Mechanical Engineer Job Description:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components
- Create detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations for new and existing projects
- HVAC and piping design utilizing Revit, Trane 3d Plus and AutoPIPE
- Stay up to date with industry trends, ASHRAE, NFPA and VA TIL standards
Mechanical Engineer Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- A positive and proactive attitude towards problem-solving
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Knowledge of 3D modeling (Revit, Cad Plant3d). Analysis tools (Trane 3D Plus, AutoPIPE)
- Ability to research and apply relevant industry standers such as ASHRAE or NFPA
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering is a plus, but not required
The starting salary for the Mechanical Engineer position is $85,000-$105,000 annually.
