Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill temp-to-hire SMT Operator II roles with a company located in Shakopee, MN. Interested candidates must be able to operate machinery or equipment and have basic reading & math skills.
SMT Operator II Job Description:
- Review SMT Document package and work with the documentation team to resolve any questions.
- Use the MyCenter or MyPlan software program to schedule feeder assignments, and MYBOM planning. Set up and operation of the DEK automatic and Ekra semi-automatic/manual solder screen print machines to print solder paste onto raw printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Print labels, label component packages, load components into feeder or tray locations and verification. Operate the SMT machines, and at the end of the job, remove parts from feeders and repackage as needed.
- Assist other operators to develop skills and produce production assemblies to specifications required by the customer.
- Set up and operate AOI equipment. May include assembly work such as conformal coating of light assemblies, In-Process inspection
SMT Operator II Job Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in the following areas:
- MyData Experience
- Ability to use common hand tools
- Knowledge of Europlacer machines preferred
- Knowledge of DEK Horizon paste printers, Heller 7 zone and Conceptronic 10 zone ovens, Yestec and Saki AOI equipment a plus.

Compensation for SMT Operator II:
The starting salary for this position is $22-$25 per hour (DOE)
1st and 2nd shift available.
