Setup Technician – Plastic Injection

Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill Direct Hire Setup Technician opening with a company in Maple Grove, MN. Interested candidates should 1+ years of experience setting up & tearing down printing jobs, be able to troubleshoot job runs/mechanical issues as needed and understand 5S & Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Setup Technician Job Description:
- Install Mold according to company specifications
- Troubleshoot and correct all molding and secondary discrepancies to ensure quality
- Start and restart all presses in accordance with specifications
- Ensure work area is clean and orderly at job completion
- Complete documentation and required
- Use 5-S suggestions form for set-up, process or other improvements
- Must understand 5-S and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Setup Technician Job Requirements:
- Must be capable of leaning all aspects of plastic injection molding methods, processes and procedures
- Must have the ability to solve problems
- Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Computer literacy
- Know of production monitoring software is preferred
- Must be able to drive a forklift
