Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill temp-to-hire Medical Assembly Technician opening with a company located in Roseville, MN. Interested candidates should have at least 1 year of medical device assembly experience, experience using a microscope, and a strong attention to detail.
Medical Assembly Technician Job Description:
- Build medical devices requiring dexterity to manipulate small components.
- Ensure quality of products manufactured.
- Complete documentation associated with production builds as required.
- Build and package products for evaluation, design and validation testing as well as routine manufacturing.
- Ensure devices subject to calibration have current calibration.
- Perform line clearance prior to starting new build lot.
- Comprehend and follow operating instructions and process packets.
- Segregate material if quality is compromised and notify engineering.
- Follow direction of Technology Specialist or Supervisor.
- Provide feedback as to the effectiveness of assembly methods being evaluated or implemented.
- Follow established procedures and follow GMP requirements.
- Train new assemblers as required.
- Conduct routine quality checks on products, review the performance of the machines and adhere to procedures and safety practices.
- Notify Technology Specialist or Supervisor if production equipment malfunctions or requires maintenance.
Medical Assembly Technician Job Requirements:
- 1 year minimum in medical device assembly
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, minimum
- Fluent English language skills including the ability to read, write and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to perform basic Math (addition and subtraction)
Compensation for Medical Assembly Technician:
The starting salary for the medical assembly technician position is $19.00 to $20.00 an hour.
