Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a temp-to-hire Electronic Assembler Specialist II opening with a company located in Shakopee, MN. Interested candidates should have Inspection experience under a microscope and be able to solder small electronic parts.
Electronic Assembler Specialist II Job Description:
- Perform manual assembly duties using microscopes, halo light and soldering irons.
- Review document package including WIP Traveler, BOM, Assembly Prints, and special instructions provided by the customer.
- Duties include color coding, dispensing solder paste, hand placing small components from 0201, small IC’s, diodes, LED’s, connectors, fine pitch, leadless components, and switches with the use of different manufacturing tools and supplies underneath a microscope.
- Assembly of cables per customer supplied documentation.
- Perform In-Process inspection before and after reflow to ensure accuracy, polarity and centering of parts on each PCBA. May assist with auto-assisted (SMT) assembly, Final Inspection and shipping/receiving when needed.
- Low-volume production support, customer repair/rework/modifications, and manufacturing support.
Electronic Assembler Specialist II Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- 3+ years’ experience using Hand Assembly, Cable Assembly and/or Final Inspection Skills
- IPC-A-610D Certification
- J-STD-001 Certification
- Must be able to work in teams, and get along with others

Compensation for Electronic Assembler Specialist II
The starting salary for this position is $22.50 to $23.50 per hour.
